How to Edit Video/Photo Clips | MiniTool Tutorial [Help]

Edit Video

MiniTool MovieMaker allows users to do color correction, add 3D LUT effects, rotate video, control video playback, edit audio in video, as well as to split/cut video.

Basic (Color Correction)

Users can adjust the contrast, saturation, and brightness and apply a 3D LUT effect to clips.

  • Click the video clip on the timeline to open its editing window.
  • In the Basic tab, drag the sliders to adjust the contrast, saturation, and brightness of the video clip. To apply a 3D LUT effect, click None to select the desired effect.
  • MiniTool MovieMaker will automatically save changes that you make in videos.
  • Click Apply to all to apply changes to all video clips as needed.

Rotation

Users can flip a video horizontally, vertically, or rotate a video by any angle.

  • Click the video clip on the timeline to open its editing window.
  • Switch to the Rotation tab, select the option Flip Horizontal or Flip Vertical. Or drag the slider to rotate the video clip by any certain angle.
  • MiniTool MovieMaker will automatically save changes that you make in videos.

Speed

Users can change the playback speed from 0.01x to 50x and play videos backward.

  • Click the video clip on the timeline to open its editing window.
  • Switch to the Speed tab, drag the slider to the left/right to slow down/speed up the video. To reverse the video, check the Reverse speed option.

Audio

Users can apply fade-in, fade-out effects to every video clip and control its volume.

  • Click the video clip on the timeline to open its editing window.
  • Switch to the Audio tab, drag the sliders to change the duration of the fade-in, and fade-out effects. Move the volume slider to left/right to make the video quiet/louder.

Edit Photo

MiniTool MovieMaker enables users to change the duration of all photos at once, color correct photos, and change the orientation of photos.

  • Click the photo on the timeline to open its editing window.
  • In the Basic tab, drag the duration slider to change the length of the photo. Then drag the sliders to adjust the contrast, saturation, and brightness of the photo. To apply a 3D LUT effect, click None to select the desired effect.
  • MiniTool MovieMaker will automatically save changes that you make in photos.
  • Click Apply to all to apply changes to all photos as needed.
