On Instagram, you can share someone’s post from the feed to your story. The prerequisite for this is the posts’ original creators have a public account and they’ve allowed other people can add their feed posts and IGTV videos to stories.

You can share someone’s post from the feed to your Instagram story via the Instagram app and Instagram Lite app.  

How to share a post on Instagram story?

Step 1. Open your Instagram app on Android or iPhone and find the post you want to add to your Instagram story.

Method 1. Reset resharing toggle.
