How to Split a Video in One Click in MiniTool MovieMaker 7.1.1?

Step 1. Download and install MiniTool MovieMaker v7.1.1 on your PC. If you already have its old version installed on your computer, just upgrade it to version 7.1.1.

Step 2. Open the program and enter its main interface.

Step 3. Under the default Media tab, click the Import Media Files option to upload the video you’d like to split.

Step 4. Add the uploaded video to the timeline.

1. Go to the Music subtab under the Media main tab, select a proper new song or sound effect, and click the download icon on it to get it.

2. Put the downloaded song or sound effect to the timeline on the audio track. Then, you can edit it in the Music Property section in the upper right when it is selected. You can fade in or fade out the sound or change its volume.

3. If you want the added sound effect to match the length of the video, you can split and delete the extra part. Just select the audio, move the playhead to the end of the video, and click the Split icon on the playhead. Then, right-click on the unwanted audio part and choose Delete.

4. Next, switch to the Elements tab from the upper left menu, find your favorite new animation, download it, and add it to the target video. You can move the element on the timeline to decide when it starts and when it ends.
